Winery Liquor Laws 101

The Washington Winegrowers, in partnership with the Washington Wine Institute, are offering a Winery Liquor Laws 101 seminar focused on Washington laws presented by a representative from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB).


This seminar will clarify WSLCB compliance requirements for Washington wineries.  Topics will include common permits used by wineries, off-site sales, and the do's and don'ts for tastings rooms, advertising, donations, winemaker dinners, and social media.


Hear directly from the WSLCB on how to navigate the confusing and challenging permit and license rules and regulations. Gain the knowledge needed to confidently operate a winery and/or tasting within the bounds of the law.


Every attendee will receive a comprehensive set of resource materials on liquor rules and regulations as well as a list of WSLCB contacts for future questions.


There will be four opportunities to attend this seminar throughout the summer and fall. The seminar will be held from 5:30 PM - 7:15 PM in the following locations:
